I am influenced by artists such as Kandinsky, Klee, Picasso and Matisse, whose work demonstrates the expressive power of colour, line and form. Rather than seeking to imitate their styles, I am inspired by their willingness to experiment, to simplify, and to trust the creative process. Their example encourages me to see painting as a place of freedom, where ideas can emerge through play and imagination.
I paint intuitively
I paint because it makes me feel free. Painting gives me a space where I can set aside expectations and simply explore. It is a place to play, to discover, and to follow ideas wherever they lead. In that freedom I often find things I could never have planned, allowing each work to grow through curiosity, intuition, and reflection
